Dawn to Dusk is an energy supplement in capsule form created by Brickhouse Nutrition. It was designed to be a better and healthier alternative to coffee or energy drinks. Unlike coffee and energy drinks where you feel an instant burst of energy and a crash later on, Dawn to Dusk supplements give you a smoother and longer lasting supply of energy.

In this review, I will walk you through everything you need to know about the Dawn to Dusk energy supplement, my own experience, helpful tips, and how you can get a 10% discount! Let’s get started!

This supplement is made with effective and high-quality ingredients. However, one thing I thought Brickhouse could improve on was providing more information on the ingredients in this supplement and explaining the science behind their product in greater detail. Nonetheless, I was able to find more information about the Pure Energy blend and Pure Teacrine blend by doing some research. Here is some background information on the ingredients in this energy supplement:

‍PureEnergy Blend (200mg): this is a combination of pTeroPure and caffeine, said to deliver 30% more caffeine to the bloodstream and extends the half-life of caffeine by nearly 25%.

(1) This is a better and more effective choice over traditional caffeine and helps prevent the typical "caffeine crash" with regular caffeine consumption.

‍Pure Theacrine (100mg): The teacrine in Dawn to Dusk is from TeaCrine. They have information on their website which outlines the studies that have been done to validate the effectiveness and safety of their formula. (1) This is an energy booster that is said to give you increased energy without irritability. Scientific studies have shown that theacrine can increase dopamine levels which in turn can initiate feels of increased energy, good mood, and mental clarity.

(2)Caffeine Anhydrous (100mg): Caffeine anhydrous is different from regular caffeine in the way it is harvested. Caffeine anhydrous is made from the seeds and leaves of coffee plants just like regular caffeine but it is dehydrated which makes it more potent so the body absorbs it better.

(3,4)Coleus Forskohlii root extract (50mg): This is a compound that is found in the root of a tropical plant related to mint and has traditionally been used in herbal medicine. Recently it has been advertised as a weight loss supplement since studies have shown it stimulates the release of fat stored in fat cells.

(5,6,7)Huperzine A (100mcg): This is a compound that comes from a type of Chinese moss. It was traditionally been used in alternative medicine for improving memory and mental function. It has been commonly used to help treat Alzheimer's and more recently been sold as a memory enhancement supplement to improve learning and memory. A study published in Acta Pharmacologica Sinica in 1999 supported the claim of Huperzine A improving learning ability but further research to support this claim is still limited.

How to use Dawn to Dusk Energy Supplements

It is recommended that you start by taking one supplement a day to being with and asses how you feel. You can take two capsules if you feel you need to but you shouldn’t take more than 2 capsules a day.Each bottle of Dawn to Dusk has 30 capsules. If you take it once a day, it will last you the whole month!They also recommend that you take the supplement as it is, in capsule form. It is advised that you do not take the capsule apart because the taste will be very bitter.

Some people have a hard time swallowing tablets/capsules in general. Here is a comparison to give you an idea on the size of a Dawn to Dusk energy supplement capsule.

Dawn to Dusk is can last up to 10 hours. Keep this in mind and take care not to take this supplement within 6 hours of going to sleep.

Does it really Increase Energy Levels?

Dawn to Dusk will provide even seasoned caffeine users with a noticeable boost in energy levels.One capsule has 200mg PureEnergy and 100mg of caffeine and if your caffeine tolerates is high, 2 tablets (400mg PureEnergy and 200mg of caffeine), should still be a very noticeable energy boost. Everyone needs an energy boost but this might not be the right energy boost for everyone:

‍Caffeine Sensitive: Caffeine supplements that are effective as this one should not be taken if you are sensitive to caffeine. If this is you, you probably should not be looking at taking energy supplements, to begin with. There is no doubt that this supplement will increase your energy levels, but it might be overwhelming and uncomfortable.

‍Moderate Caffeine Tolerance: If you consider yourself an average caffeine user than you will notice the effects of this supplement. I find myself in this category. This will be you if you drink 2-4 cups of coffee a day or a couple of energy drinks. An average cup of coffee has about 90 to 120mg of caffeine, and a typical energy drink probably averages 120 to 160mg. I imagine that taking one capsule a day would be sufficient enough for these supplements to replace your existing caffeine-consuming habits. This was the situation in my case.

‍Heavy Caffeine Tolerance: If you find yourself above the average level of caffeine consumption, Dawn to Dusk could still be beneficial. However, I would imagine you would feel the effects with two capsules a day. But I would recommend starting out with one a day to test your tolerance and adjust accordingly.

From the reviews on the Dawn to Dusk product page, my impression was that is was an effective energy supplement.It appeared as though people didn't have anything negative to say about their experience with the supplement. Over 90% of the 200+ reviews where 5/5 stars so that is very promising!

‍My Experience:I wasn’t sure what to expect from an energy supplement in capsule form, but I am glad that I tried it! I like that I feel I have a constant supply of energy throughout my day rather than the roller coaster ride of instant energy burst followed by a crash that I take as my cue to go get another cup of coffee. A few things I like about it / benefits:

‍Time Saver: it actually saves me quite a bit of time. I don’t have to stop my workflow to fill up on coffee. The interruption is distracting, and so in addition to the time it takes to get a caffeine refill, I also used to waste extra time getting back to focus on where I left off with my work.

‍Constant Energy: I used to have this issue of misjudging how much caffeine I consume throughout the day because of all the ups and downs (caffeine/sugar crashes!). So sometimes I can tell I’ve drunk too much because of my irritability, and at that point, it's too late. This is no longer an issue!

‍No Crash! I don’t have random caffeine crashes throughout the day. This extended energy supplement is a smooth and constant supply of energy. I felt alert and focused for the whole day.Overall, this has been an absolutely fantastic product for me, and I am thrilled with the results and I would reccomened you try it for yourself!

Dawn to Dusk is defiantly an energy booster! If you are a heavy caffeine user, I believe even you will feel the benefits of increased energy from these supplements. Everyone needs an energy boost, some of us rely on it daily, others might have more sporadic needs. Either way, Dawn to Dusk supplements fulfill their promise of increased energy!

‍Ingredients: While they have limited information on ingredients used, the details in the "Ingredients" section of this review will show that  Dawn to Dusk is formulated with ingredients that are proven to extend and amplify the effects of caffeine to give you a constant boost in energy, mood, and mental clarity. A health benefit of having your daily source of caffeine come in a capsule form is that you avoid the calories and sugar that are in coffee and energy drinks.

‍Effectiveness: The ingredients speak a lot to the effectiveness of the product. I would avoid this if you are new or sensitive to caffeine. For the moderate caffeine tolerance (myself included) this is extremely effective at supplying a steady stream of energy throughout the day without caffeine jitters or crash. If you have a high caffeine tolerance, two capsules a day would probably be more effective for you than 1. Either way, you should definitely feel the energy-boosting effects!

‍Price/Value: For $1.55 - $1.67 a serving, Dawn to Dusk is still cheaper than buying expensive coffee from a coffee shop or buying multiple energy drinks a day.
