The Hidrate Spark Steel bottle syncs with the Hidrate Spark hydration app.

The app will ask a series of questions to calculate your personal daily water goal.

Factors that are used to calculate your daily hydration goals include:

• weight
• sex
• elevation
• exercise
• and lifestyle habits

The app syncs with your water bottle to track how much water you drink. It will glow to remind you to drink, and you can also enable phone notifications. 

The sensor puck battery lasts about ten days before you have to recharge it.

Cons (areas for improvement)

• 21oz is the largest bottle at the time of this review. A 24oz would be better and a 32oz would be great to see in the future. 
• Only lids are dishwasher safe; bottle should be hand washed
• It does not work with hot liquids (Eco Vessel is an excellent choice for hot beverages, especially for tea)
