Hopefully you've had plenty of days filled with good TV shows, hot chocolate and blankets with winter. How that the snow is melting and days are getting longer it's the perfect time to get active with your SO (and maybe get rid of some of that holiday weight).

Weather you are looking for a light workout or a hardcore sweat session, these workout ideas are great for any couple!

Hiking

Now is the perfect time to hit the trails because the weather is just starting to warm up so all the annoying bugs and insects aren't out yet! Hiking doesn't have to mean a hard, rocky terrain. You can so for a walk on your local park's nature trails. Explore your city and try out new natural preserves. This also makes a great date idea! Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes and light layers as spring weather can be a little unpredictable. I recommend using AllTrails.com to find trails local to your area.

The Park

Some of you like in a more urban area so finding a hiking trail is a little more difficult. In this case there are other activities you can do like heading to the local park and trowing around a frisbee. Frisbee is a great core workout when you through and cardio when you run to catch! Some communities even have frisbee gulf courses or groups that play Ultimate Frisbee that welcome new players.

Workout Together

Go to the gym together and motivate each other to push yourselves harder. If you are looking for a real sweat session, take a bootcamp style fitness class of a high-intensity interval training class. Challenge each other and get in shape together. Couple who workout together stay together! Partner Yoga is another fitness class that is focused on getting fit with a partner!

Biking

Spring is a time to dust of those bikes and hit the road! Biking is a great way to get around and get in shape. You can ride your bikes to a park, nature preserve, or to your fitness classes. Always be sure to wear a helmet and ride safely.
