Running is a great cardio workout! Dressing for a outdoor run can be hard, especially when the temperature is in that range where you're not sure if you'll be cold or get too hot durning your run. This is just a quick reference guide on what to wear based on the outdoor temperature!

Temperature: 50+ Fahrenheit (10+ Celsius)

A simple base layer of a short sleeve or sleeveless shirt and shorts will be your best option. Around 50 degrees is when you might feel a little chilly when you first step outside but you will quickly warm up and feel comfortable in shorts and a t-shirt.

Temperature: 40-50 Fahrenheit (4 to 10 Celsius)

Wear a long sleeve light shirt and full length or capri running pants. If you are the kind of person that is more sensitive to cold you might want to bring a light weight running sweater for insulation (especially if it's windy).

Temperature: 30-40 Fahrenheit (-1 to 4 Celsius)

Long sleeve shirt and long running pants with a running sweater or fleece. This is also around the temperature that you should wear light running gloves and ear warmers.

Temperature: 20-30 Fahrenheit (-6 to -1 Celsius)

Long sleeve shirt and running tights. I like to layer and wear a fleece and another layer on the bottom. A light weight running jacket is also a good idea. Hat and gloves are a must!

Temperature: 20 and below Fahrenheit (-6 and below Celsius)

You brave soul! When It gets this cold I like to move inside and use a treadmill. For those of you that are determined to get outside wear a long sleeve shirt, running tights, another bottom layer, fleece, light weight jacket. Don't forget a warm pair of gloves and a good hat!
