What The Heck is the Human Growth Hormone (HGH)?

Human Growth Hormone or HGH is pretty much exactly that. It's a hormone produced by our bodies that helps us grow. This hormone is produced in the pituitary gland in our brain and causes a lot of wonderful things to happen. Levels of human growth hormone peak around puberty and decrease with age. Studies have shown that this is what causes us to age and slowly wither away. The reason for this is because human growth hormone stimulates growth, cell reproduction, and cell regeneration in humans, without our cells being able to be produced we slowly lose more and more of them and we need every cell we can get.In 1990 there was an incredible ground breaking study done on HGH with shocking results. You can read the study on Human Growth Hormone, but to summarize from the New England Journal of Medicine:Dr. Daniel Rudman and his colleagues at the Medical College of Wisconsin injected 21 elderly men with the hormone for 6 months. At the end of the 6 months, these men gained 9% more muscle, lost 14% of their body fat, had thicker more youthful skin, and a major bone density improvement in their spines and other bones. This gave HGH the nickname as the fountain of youth. These older gentlemen had basically become years younger in only 6 months.

How the human growth hormone works

Because that study showed such impressive results, it's no surprise that since then there have been many other studies done on the growth hormone and it consistently shows impressive results.

HGH Controls Aging?

What has become more and more apparent as each study concludes, is that aging seems to be due largely to the decline of the hormone being produced within the body.Think back to when you were younger, you healed faster, you were relatively indestructible. But as we age we can slow watch this being stolen from us. It makes sense that if we can somehow get the body to produce the hormone again that our body would revert back to its youth state.Scientific research has long been trying to figure out why we age. From a scientific standpoint it doesnt make a ton of sense. Research seems to be showing that the human growth hormone might be the answer - or at worst a partial answer!

How Can You Boost Your HGH Levels?

Of course you can go spend a ton of money on growth hormone injections with will be many, many thousands a year and could potentially be harmful. Remember everything in moderation.I believe the best way to take care of our health is by doing it naturally. Our bodies know what they need and they are all different. Boosting HGH levels naturally will - in my opinion - always be better than just getting an infusion. One of the best ways to boost the production of Human Growth Hormone is by taking a niacin supplement. Niacin in it's own right is incredible for our bodies, however in high doses (higher than you'll find in your daily diet) it has shown great results on health. It is believed that niacin plays a key role in coaxing our bodies to produce more growth hormone, and really shows it's power with exercise.I would strongly encourage you to look into getting a niacin supplement to get the health benefits from that, but also to get the body to produce for growth hormone so you can really take advantage of that!
